Welcome to St Christopher's Youth Project
St Christopher's Youth Project is based on Holme Wood, a social housing estate just outside the city centre. It was started by St Christopher's Church sixteen years ago and is still going strong. St Christopher's youth project work to bring positive and challenging opportunities to young people living in Holme Wood. We want to make a lasting difference to young people's lives and are committed to long term work with youth people.
The Great Money Give-Away!
Today young people in Holme Wood will meet to decide which Holme Wood projects will get up to £1000.
Over the last couple of months young people have been applying for money to improve the youth provision on Holme Wood. They have done this in conjunction with an existing youth work provider on the estate who has agreed to support them in their application.
Today the applicants will come before their peers to present their case. The young people at the event will then score the ideas they have seen and Money will be awarded accordingly.
